This Bandana Lane project transformed a new build in Georgetown, Texas into a warm, expressive home layered with meaning and personality. Designed for a husband and wife with a deep appreciation for art and thoughtful detail, the focus was on honoring their existing collection while reimagining key furnishings and introducing layered lighting to bring depth, balance, and livability throughout the home.

As a full service interior design project, the scope included space planning, custom detailing, and material selections that elevate everyday living. Texture plays a central role throughout the home. In the primary bedroom, the walls and ceiling are wrapped in grasscloth, with a playful geometric wallcovering applied to the ceiling to add dimension and personality while maintaining a sense of calm. The guest bedroom features a bold, large scale grasscloth, intentionally positioned to highlight the sculptural deer statuary and create a gallery like moment.

Additional highlights include a statement powder room renovation and hand applied murals framed with bespoke trim, allowing each installation to read as architectural art. Dramatic ceiling treatments featuring laser cut wood veneers further anchor the design. In the living room, laser cut wood veneers and studded grasscloth applied to the window wall add depth and quiet contrast, working in conversation with the studded glazed linen draperies. Tailored window treatments and carefully layered lighting complete the space, adding warmth and refinement without visual excess.

The kitchen introduces a confident yet controlled statement through a custom island wrapped in blue vinyl crocodile wall covering, bringing texture and personality while remaining cohesive with the rest of the home. The result is a collected, personalized interior that feels intentional and lived in rather than newly finished. Every detail was designed to reflect the homeowners’ lifestyle and story, creating a home that feels distinctive, comfortable, and entirely their own.
